Teresa Mealy, FNP
Certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner, my career took a different turn than expected after starting as a receptionist at a Clearwater, Florida neurology office.
Graduating with a Bachelor’s in nursing from Armstrong Atlantic State University in Savannah, Georgia, I began at St Joseph’s Hospital, specializing in cardiac care for post-angioplasty, cardiac stent, pacemaker, and post-coronary bypass surgery patients.
Returning to Florida in 1999, I worked in cardiac care at Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater, FL.
Earning my Master’s Degree in nursing from the University of South Florida in 2004, I rejoined the neurology office as a Nurse Practitioner, focusing on migraine management. Following the birth of my twin boys, I transitioned to the Minute Clinic at select CVS stores.
Moving to Missouri in 2012, I faced health challenges that led me to explore natural remedies and bio-identical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT).
Discovering significant improvements with BHRT in 2013, I pursued advanced certification through World Link Medical in 2015 and further education at the Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM).
Establishing my practice in 2016, specializing in Bio Identical Hormone Replacement Therapy, my husband Mark and I, married since 1995, raise our twin boys in the Springfield, MO area, homeschooling them as a close, supportive family.
