Teresa Mealy, FNP
I’m Teresa Mealy, a certified Family Nurse Practitioner whose career path shifted from finance to nursing after starting at a neurology office in Clearwater, Florida.
Graduating with a Bachelor’s in nursing from Armstrong Atlantic State University in Savannah, Georgia, I began my nursing journey at St Joseph’s Hospital, specializing in cardiac care for patients post-angioplasty, with cardiac stents, pacemakers, and post-coronary bypass surgeries.
Returning to Florida in 1999, I continued in cardiac care at Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater, FL.
Earning my Master’s Degree in nursing from the University of South Florida in 2004, I returned to the original neurology office as a Nurse Practitioner, focusing on migraine management. Following the birth of my twin boys, I joined the Minute Clinic at select CVS stores.
Moving to Missouri in 2012, my own health challenges prompted a deeper dive into natural remedies and bio-identical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT).
Experiencing significant personal benefits with BHRT in 2013, I pursued advanced certification through World Link Medical in 2015 and continued education at the Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM).
Opening my practice in 2016, specializing in Bio Identical Hormone Replacement Therapy, my husband Mark and I, married since 1995, raise our twin boys in the Springfield, MO area, homeschooling them as a tight-knit family.
