Teresa Mealy, FNP
I am Teresa Mealy, a certified Family Nurse Practitioner whose career journey began unexpectedly in nursing after starting at a neurology office in Clearwater, Florida.
After obtaining my Bachelor’s in nursing from Armstrong Atlantic State University in Savannah, Georgia, I launched my nursing career at St Joseph’s Hospital, specializing in cardiac care for patients post-angioplasty, with cardiac stents, pacemakers, and post-coronary bypass surgeries.
Returning to Florida in 1999, I continued in cardiac care at Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater, FL.
Completing my Master’s Degree in nursing from the University of South Florida in 2004, I resumed my role at the original neurology office as a Nurse Practitioner, focusing on migraine management. Following the birth of my twin boys, I joined the Minute Clinic at select CVS stores.
Moving to Missouri in 2012, I encountered personal health challenges that spurred my exploration into natural remedies and bio-identical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT).
Experiencing transformative personal benefits with BHRT in 2013, I pursued advanced certification through World Link Medical in 2015 and ongoing education at the Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM).
Launching my practice in 2016, specializing in Bio Identical Hormone Replacement Therapy, my husband Mark and I, married since 1995, reside with our twin boys in the Springfield, MO area, where we homeschool them as a close-knit family.
