How much does the Hormone Solution membership cost?

We offer membership medicine which means you pay on a monthly basis for our services. The initial comprehensive annual exam is $450 and that includes a one-hour visit and then a 1 hour follow up visit to review the labs that are ordered at the initial visit. We assess a $225 quarterly maintenance/membership fee that is automatically deducted from your bank account via ACH beginning sixty days after signup. This fee covers all of Teresa Mealy’s office visits, the ordering of labs, interpretation of labs, phone calls, virtual appointments, texts, access to our online dispensary, Fullscript with a 25% discount of of all orders and the prescribing of hormones and primary care/COVID telemedicine visits. We also offer complimentary body composition analysis at your initial visit and every three months thereafter. This fee does not include lab fees or the cost of your hormone prescriptions and supplements. We are fully HSA and FSA compliant.
How do you measure labs?
Are labs covered by insurance?

Yes. Many insurance companies will cover the hormone testing. You would need to check with your plan regarding deductibles and co-pays. We do offer self-pay prices through Quest Diagnostics if you do not have insurance. We are also fully HSA and FSA compliant so make sure to check with those types of tax advantaged savings accounts to see if your expenses are eligible. We do not participate in Medicare or Medicaid and bills CANNOT be submitted to them for reimbursement.
What is BHRT?

Bio-identical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT) is a part of functional medicine where we look to restore the naturally occurring hormones that decline with age or, depending on disease, has been genetically deficient as in polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS). Bio identical hormones are made by a special compounding pharmacy and they are formulated to be molecularly exact to what is made by your body. Bio identical hormones are quite protective against many diseases and when you start to decline in them we see more illness such as cancer, diabetes, mood disturbances, weight gain, decreased sex drive, decreased muscle mass, increased blood pressure, increased cholesterol, decreased motivation, bone loss, chronic urinary tract infections, dementia and much, much more.

Can Teresa Mealy, FNP take care of the needs my primary care provider does?

Yes! In addition to optimizing your hormones and helping you achieve life altering metabolic health, Teresa will also provide a limited primary care service by telemedicine only. This service is provided at no extra charge for our hormone members and we offer these services to non-members for $75 per telemedicine consult.

It is however our goal to get you off as many synthetic medications as possible and help you to restore your bodies innate ability to heal itself. We will provide ongoing lifestyle recommendations along with targeted supplementation in order to achieve these goals.

We also offer early treatment of COVID 19 and prevention. If you are interested in this service it is by telemedicine only. There is a $150 consult fee. My mission is to support people’s efforts to gain responsibility for their health and wellness. To facilitate a transformation that is within us all. Out of State Patients

For those of you who are located outside of Missouri, or Florida but are interested in becoming a patient, in order to provide you with our services you would need to visit our practice in Springfield, Missouri at least once per year (see travel information in the drop down below). For those of you who are not able to make it to our location we are able to provide you with phone consults and hormone recommendations that can be given to your provider. We are also able to provide nutrition support and drop shipping of our supplements via our online dispensary, Fullscript. Please call our office at 417-771-5277 for more information.

Teresa Mealy Total Health and Wellness is located in the beautiful Ozark Mountains of Springfield, Missouri. Springfield/ Branson Regional Airport (SGF) is supported by Allegiant Airlines, United Airlines, American Airlines and Delta Airlines. The nearest hotel to Springfield/Branson Regional Airport is the Courtyard Springfield Airport. There are numerous other hotels and restaurants nearby for convenience. If you plan on traveling to the area be sure to make time to visit the Bass Pro Shops flagship store and Wonders of Wildlife museums in Springfield. Branson and all of its attractions are also located nearby along with numerous lakes, rivers, streams, parks and wildlife viewing areas.

Where do I go to get my labs drawn?

We have an in-office Quest Diagnostics phlebotomist at our Springfield, MO. location available on Monday through Thursday from 9:00AM to 3:30PM CST. For out of state patients or those who live in another city that has a Quest Diagnostics laboratory, once your lab order is entered into the Quest system, you can simply walk-in to your preferred location and have your labs drawn. No appointment is necessary.
What if I don't have a bank account to use for the quarterly maintenance/membership fee?

Please note. You will be required to place a $50 deposit when setting up your new patient consult. The $50 will be applied to the cost of the initial consult ($450 initial consult fee minus the $50 deposit = $400 due at your initial appointment). Appointments MUST be cancelled at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment time or the $50 deposit will be forfeited.
What is body composition analysis?

We conduct body composition analysis as a baseline during your initial consult and quarterly thereafter. This analysis gives us an idea of the percentage of body fat, muscle and water in your body and gives us another tool to track your progress in our program. Our goal is to decrease your body fat percentage while maintaining or increasing your lean muscle. Most patients will achieve this through lifestyle modification along with bio- identical hormone replacement therapy.
